Have been learning alot about final cut pro after just forking out some cash for it, and struck a few issues while trying to log capture from my HV2o, I googled around and tried to find a solution, only to see alot of annoyed people and frustration. I just could not get Final Cut to see my HV20. So I tried in iMove, both iMovie HD and the latest iMovie. When I pushed the capture button (little camera) in these apps, it showed only my isight and NOT my HV20, so all I did was have the camera powered on in play mode, pulled out the firewire cable from the camera and plugged it back in, and boom, the HV20 now showed in both iMovie apps, so once that was showing up, I went over to final cut and hit cmd + 8, and yep, there is my HV20, I have to do this everytime, but hey, it works, and that is all that I care about. Hopefully this helps some of the people out there with the same issue.
